West Bali Adventure

This month should be the bussy time for all of the drivers.
Unfortunately we are having a bad time. Since the global crisis hit us, slow but sure Bali got effected. alot of guest canceled their trip to Bali.
My self also have more empty calendar than last month.

My freinds from west Bali called me, It's off road time....! they said.

I took my family to west, so my wife and my son can meet our parents in both side since both of us came from west too.
We went to west Bali National park, ride in to the teak forest.
We found two carts full with wood and axe left by the thief. So sad to see the teak forest is almost gone now. alot of peolpes chop the trees but never replant.
climb the high hill and pas by the water dam in Palsari.
One time my bike was stuck in the mud, it was my fault. Small river but deep mud.
My friends have to drag me.
It's fun....! we ignore the crisis for a while.
Ups... I need to buy new boots.
it's look old and the sole is cracking.....
That's all guys, I invite you to visit west Bali.

My wife and I are a retired couple that just returned Nov.2,'08, after 6 wks. in Indonesia, with 4 wks. spent in Bali. We used Sila exclusively as our driver in Bali, and he was indeed exceptional. Sila's driving was very safe, and his ability to park in sm. spaces was remarkable! He was very reliable in picking us up X3 at the airport, and always prompt each morning. He was always pleasant, patient, and very helpful and resourceful in personalizing an itinerary each day to meet our needs and interest. He knows the island well, and saw that we enjoyed all of the outstanding attractions of Bali,as well as experiencing the local customs. His command of English is exceptional, and made communication very easy. We found him very honest and trustworthy, and always looked out for our best interest. He was more than just a "Bali Driver", by the end of the trip we felt like he was a member of the family. We would highly recommend Sila to anyone wanting a safe, reliable, honest, and fun "driver" while in Bali.

My husband and I would like to highly recommend our driver Sila to anyone looking for one. We hired him for two days. He was reliable, knowledgeable and also had a great sense of humour. He helped to make our trip a really memorable one. He changed days for us without any problem and couldn't have been more helpful.
He knew I was interested in animals so he pointed out little ones I wouldn't have otherwise noticed.
We will always remember him and the fun we had touring about with him.
Book early.

Alice Bali Shopping Trip

We just had a girls shopping weekend in Bali. While we were there we used a fantastic driver named Sila (pronounced Cee-la). On our first meeting with him we told him all of the places that we wanted to visit and what we were looking to purchase. He came up with several additional places that we should also visit. He never took us to "tourist" shops and helped communicate with the shop owners when they didn't speak English. He also help us to arrange the shipping of the larger items back to our country and brought us packing material for the items that we brought back on the plane.

He charges 400,000 rupees (~ $45) a day, a real bargain, and didn't want to take a tip even though he went beyond what he was required to do. On one of the days we used him for a few hours longer than we agreed to, and he wouldn’t take any extra money. He has a late model SUV, which he kept very clean, and always had cold bottle water on hand for us. He is extremely nice and went out of his way to help us. If you are looking for a honest, no pressure, helpful, and fun driver in Bali, I would highly recommend Sila.
